8/21/15 Pitbulls, Dragons and Hansons
Take Two, Hatrick Swayze get a Split decision and All In
Strive to be Number One! The Dragons have won
seven straight contests as Carl Marraco and Mike Daskalakas
would show no remorse in the Dragons sixth straight
last Tuesday night both nailing a trick with Bob Munday
setting up four! They carried the torch into Thursday night
as they would put up another eight. The squadron is all
getting involved in the mix as Eugene Perpuda put up a rare
hat-trick in the Dragons seventh straight winner
as goal keep Rob Halasey has taken over the league lead
in GAA with a 3.12 as the club now stands at 8-1! Captain
Ralph Luddini has got his men motivated to play and has
been a force himself putting together his best offensive
season yet! Does anybody remember Charlie? The Pitbulls
have also put up a string a victories and haven't lost since
Week One! Putting up their sixth and seventh straight this
week on Tuesday night they built a 5-1 lead after one but
would find themselves in a one goal game with just 7:43
remaining! George Konstine and Genero Seriano would net
the next two and close out win six. Win seven would see
them locked at five after two as they would own the third
out scoring their opponents 3-0 on goals from Jae Budha,
Jerry Margano and Genero! Seven straight wins and 7-1 on
the seasonal the Pitbulls do stand! Forget about
win streaks team All In hasn't lost yet! Going eight
for eight on the season this crew has been nothing less
than a scoring machine! Putting up a league leading seventy
six goals on the season last Thursday they would net nine!
Out scoring their opponents by a goal in each period of
play Matt "the magician" Galeano would add another
six points to his dominating league lead at 47 as he stares
down the fifty point club and the league record of fifty
two points held by Christopher Brown. Matt has two games
left to play! The Hansons would also take two wins
this week putting themselves in the middle of the pack!
Tuesday night would see Matt Duffy strike twice and Anthony
Doreen pop his first Draft League goal between the pipes
in a Hansons 5-3 win! On Thursday the Hansons
would take a 4-3 lead into the third and then the ugliness
would pursue. We stopped the game over the nonsense with
11:09 left in regulation and will not make the rest of this
one up as it is official. Mike McGrath's second period goal
for the Hansons stands as the game winner. Hatrick
Swayze and OSS were involved in an interesting
entertaining match between temporary friendly foes! In a
game that saw a combined fifteen goals scored the teams
involved would net their tallies in spurts. With Hatrick
Swayze up 4-2, OSS would net the next four goals
only to see Hatrick Swazye score the last five of
the game! Mike Gambino of Swayze was good with a
five point night four goals and an assist in the winner!
Well, problems problems this week getting the write up live
but here it is finally as I heard the feedback on facebook.
