| 5/12 Chicago Black Hawks send the Vancouver Canucks packing for the second straight season! Two quick outbursts in the second and third period move the Chicago Black Hawks into the Western Conference Finals again. Last season they played the Detroit Redwings this time it will be the number one seeded San Jose Sharks. In my opinion this is the Stanley Cup right here. The number one and two seeded teams in the West will collide next. In last night's game Troy Brouwer and Kris Versteeg would score thirty six seconds apart to go up 2-0 and Dave Bolland would get a short handed goal with only :45 left in the middle session for a 3-0 lead going into the final period. Canucks would get a goal back in the third but Patrick Kane and Dustin Byfuglien would ruin any chance of a come back connecting :25 apart. The Black Hawks have owned the Canucks in their own back yard going 3-0 in the series while taking down the series in six games. This is the second straight season the Canucks were eliminated by the Hawks exactly 365 days after last seasons ousting. |
